Lava Print has developed a new white UV ink for series of wide-format uv printers. The new white UV ink is fast drying with improved whiteness and opacity. Additionally, the white pigments have been improved to prevent a shift of whiteness due to sedimentation.
The new white UV ink makes printing faster. Normally when printing white as an underlayer on transparent media, white is printed first and then the media has to be re-fed to print the color on top of the white. This can lead to registration problems. However, the new white ink overlay printing allows users to image white and full-color simultaneously for quicker and more accurate output.
